The description of the illness: Blood pressure is the force of blood pushing against the walls of arteries and veins when carrying blood from the heart to all the body's tissues and organs in pipes.

   • Hypotension is the medical term for low blood pressure, generally considered to be a systolic blood pressure of 90 mm Hg or less in an adult. 
   • Some normal adults may have levels that low without any symptoms, while some hypertensive patients may develop shock with what would be considered normal blood pressure.

The treatment: Gentle massage rubbing the chest.
Essential Oils of Scotch Pine, Winter Savory, Peppermint and Eucalyptus.
Hydrosols - Sage, Clary Sage.
Herbs - Lily-of-the-Valley, Broom flowers and tops, Motherwort, Rosemary herb, Sage.

Prescription 1: Rosemary Heart Oil: ½ cup olive oil, ¼ cup dried rosemary leaves.
Pour oil over leaves in a clean jar. Place in a warm location (in the sun or on a radiator, for instance) for 2 days. Strain out the leaves. Use this infusion as a massage oil to rub on the chest.

Prescription 2: Low Blood Pressure Tincture: ½ teaspoon each tinctures of hawthorn berries and flowers, ginger rhizome, rosemary leaves and Siberian ginseng root .
Combine ingredients. Take half a dropperful 2 to 4 times a day.
