Natural Waxes

Natural Waxes
Orange Blossom Wax

The bride's bouquet. You can add a bit of Sandalwood to this one.
Semi soft, almost soft enough for a solid perfume.  This is softly scented, but totally free of any solvent scent. You’ll love it.

Rose Wax -Temporarily Out of Stock

Everyone's favorite. Soapmakers sometimes use Rose wax, extended with a bit of Rosewood Oil to make the lushest Rose Soap you’ve ever used.

Beeswax Beads

If you have time to make salves, balms and creams, just try to use a lot of it. But MELTING a solid lump of beeswax to produce 1 teaspoon of melted beeswax takes forever. This won't grate on your grater; it ate the food processor shredding blade. As a compromise buy the beeswax beads that are readily available if you are interested in a large amount.

However, if you are interested in a SMALL amount, to make just a wee pot or two of solid perfume, try your first beeswax and borax thickened cream, or a healing balm. Just melt them with the oils called for in your recipe and you will be off and running.

Emulsifying Wax
We all know that oil and water won't mix. But Emulsifying wax is the little wonder that, melted into warming oils, will allow you to whip in hydrosols, water, herbal teas to form your own creams and lotions. This is the secret of the face creams professionals make. All vegetable based.
