Recommendations
 While choosing and using essential oils, pay attention to the following recommendations:
• Oils which can not be used at home are: cinnamon, clove, hyssop, sage and others.
• Oils which are avoided during pregnancy: basil, clove, cinnamon, fennel, hyssop, juniper, marjoram, myrrh, peppermint, rosemary, sage, white thyme and others.
• Oils avoided for steam facials: bay, clary sage, ginger, juniper, pine, tea tree and others.
• Oils which have a photosynthesizing effect: lemon, bergamot, lime, and orange and others. Do not exposure your skin to the sun for at least two hours after using the oils.

Observe the list of some essential oils which can be effectively used in aromatherapy skin care:
• Almond Oil – it has vitamin D and it is very helpful for hair, dry skin and brittle nails. The skin absorbs the smooth oil very easily; there is no definite smell while using the oil.
• Apricot kernel Oil – It is light, it has Vitamin A. It is very helpful for the dry or aging skin of the face.
• Avocado Oil – It is heavy, it has a lot of nutrients. It is very helpful for dry aging and sensitive skins, eczema and psoriasis.
• Grapeseed Oil - It is light and one of the least expensive oils. It is very helpful for oily skin.
• Hazelnut Oil - It can be absorbed into the skin very easily and it nourishes very well.
• Jojoba Oil - It is light, it contains Vitamin E. It is very helpful for acne, dandruff and dry scalp, spots.
• Olive Oil - it has a strong smell.
• Peach Kernel Oil - It is light, it contains Vitamins A & E. It is very helpful for face.
• Soya Oil - It contains Vitamin E, it can be easily absorbed.
• Sunflower Oil - It contains Vitamin E and fatty acids, it has a nutty smell.
• Wheatgerm Oil - It contains Vitamins A, B, C and E. It lessens spots, scars and stretch marks, it firms and tones the skin. It has a strong smell.


Pay attention to the treatment of some widespread problems with aromatherapy products:

Acne Treatment: Mix 6 drops bergamot, 4 drops lavender, in .75 oz of jojoba oil and 8 drops tea tree.  Put it on your face every evening and massage around, not on, the pimple. Add the mixture to cream for use at daytime (do not exposure your skin with the mixture on your face). The mixture with a few drops of carrot oil reduces spots.

Dry Skin Treatment: Mix 10 drops bois de rose oil, 10 drops lavender oil and 10 drops sandalwood oil in 2 tablespoons of avocado.

Hair Treatment: Mix 1 drops bay oil, 1 drops lavender oil, 2 drops rosemary oil in 20 ml olive oil. The mixture can be used as a scalp massage, for hair (the treatment will last half an hour) and shampoo.
Problem Skin Treatment: Mix 10 d frankincense oil, 10 drops myrrh oil and 10 drops palmarosa oil  in 1 tablespoon of Borage and 1 tablespoon of flaxseed.

Reviving Face Treatment: Mix 2 drops lemon oil, 2 drops petitgrain oil and 2 drops ylang ylang oil in 20 ml of iced water. Mix it with crushed almonds.  Use the paste as a face mask.  When it gets dry, wash it away.
Suncare: Mix 14 drops lavender oil and 1 drops peppermint oil: in 4-8 oz. of cold water.  Put it in an atomizer and use it on sunny days.
