Essential oils are natural oils of plants, their flowers, bark, leaves, fruits or roots. Essential oils have scent or flavor of the original plant. They are commonly used in perfume, flavorings and traditional medicine.
Pure essential oils are generally aromatic and good for health. Each of the essential oils has specific properties, so they can treat different deceases.
Essential oils may be poisonous if you take them internally. They do not serve for internal use. So keep them aside so children and animals could not take them. Using essential oils in specific conditions such as pregnancy, diabetes, skin allergies and epilepsy must be discussed with aroma therapist before using them.
